Good day all. Got my Octavia wagon a few weeks ago. An Ambition plus manual in Moon White with the panoramic roof.

I'm an American from the freezing north of Minnesota. Skodas aren't available in the US. That's probably part of what attracted me to it. I was looking at getting a Renault Clio RS, or Alfa Giulietta. My wife wanted a Tiguan or CX-5. The Octavia wagon seemed a good compromise.

It's not my first VAG though. That was a mk5 Jetta 2.0 TFSI.

I was referred to this site from briskoda.

Anyhow, I look forward to picking through the community's wisdom.

Welcome to the Manual Gearbox Skoda wagon club. There may not be many of us, but at least we know the joys of driving a manual VAG car with no DSG issues to worry about.....
