I've joined this forum as I'm in the market for and searching information on vRS Octavia wagons. I met bobski on Sunday and took his car for a drive and was suitably impressed. It's a lot of car for the money!

As part of this process I'll be preparing my fiancées Mk 4 Golf for sale to help fund the purchase.

I also own a Renault Megane 225 which I've modified and take to the track but please don't hold that against me.

I look forward to the learning and possibly meeting some of you in the near future.

I missed out on bobski's wagon, my loss, his gain, it was always going to be snapped up quickly given its condition and price.

I'm still researching the Octavia but I've also started to get interested in some of the other VAG options. Namely the Passat, either the 2.0T or V6 and the A4 Avant.
