Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW Hi From Me and My VW/Audi Parts Car

    Hi All,

    As my daily-driver, a Porsche 924, shares a huge number of parts with the MK1 Golf I decided to join up. I'm sure you early Golf owners have the same challenges as I do keeping the old girl on the road - fixing electrical problems and finding parts being the top of the list.

    I've owned 2 924s and lots of Mk1 golf's so I know what you mean.

    The Internet makes things much easier now than when I had mine.

      Thanks. Pelican Parts is always on my checklist but germanautoparts.com is new to me. Bookmarked.

      Keeping these old things alive is a tough job but someone has to do it.
