Hi all,
I'm looking to purchase a T5 multivan but know there have been significant Transmission issues discussed in many places on the internet. I'm looking for guidance on whether this is across all models/transmissions or if there are ways to determine whether the transmission is in good condition or not.
I'm not afraid of having to get a transmission rebuilt and the money it costs if I can factor that into the purchase price.
I want to stick with the T5 highline if possible because of the good looks, room in the body and the high quality interiors. I expect to do do quite a few Kms and would prefer an auto if possible. Business use during the week and possibly sleep inside on weekends away (aware of the need for a foam mattress for comfort)
Any feedback specifically about reliability factors greatly appreciated.
