QLD the awkward first post/ thread

Hey Bros!

just thought id post to say hello firstly and being a new owner of my 1st VW it would be a great idea to join the VW world as I'm a firm believer of community and forms being very useful tools of information and keeping in touch with what's happening ^_^

anyways I'm picking up my Passat 3CC tomorrow and keen to learn more about it and hopefully pick at it aesthetically when i can afford it (really like the VW option lip, side skirts, boot lip and the tail lights they offer)

being from a circuit racing and drifting back round I'm pretty intent on not going silly and keep this car extremely comfortable and practical ^_^

Welcome to the forums Josh.
While you are plannin on keeping the car comfortalbe and practical we do hold Happy Laps at Lakeside Park once every second month or so which is a fun way to see how the car goes in a spirited drive while not being a full time attack or sprint series.

I actually did see that in the events section, I'll have to see if I'm in town but if I am might have to put the suspension in sports mode and see what happens or even just come out for a look
