HI!
I own a Dark blue (if someone knows the actual name for the paint colour and could tell me please) MK4 Golf. Standard 1.6L and beige interior.. I bought the car just over a year ago now, for a pretty cheap price due to a lack of aesthetic maintenance from the previous owner (king springs and ugly wheels don't make a car look good if you smash your interior and fail to care for your paint!)
I've had a massive love for all vw's (specifically golf's) for years and owning my own was always something I was super keen on, so my old car being written off was a bit of a blessing in disguise. To say I'm a fan of the 'stanced' look on a golf is definitely an understatement.. Although i don't think I'd ever run my car that way, as i don't have the luxury of a daily and this being a show car!
I've come and gone reading through some forum threads before for minor things i was doing to my car, but now i've decided to take the plunge to get some help or read more threads, so i can finally fix all its imperfections and start a bit of a build!
So here it is, with her scratched wheels, peeled bonnet paint and some dirty interior.. I think I've got some work ahead of me!
