Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Thank you for your kindness team_v.
I'm loving the car in all situations.
There is some difficulty finding information about the Tiguan in my language, there are more of the Jetta and Passat.
Oil pan capacity, for example, that VW announces five liters in the plan of maintenance of the Brazilian website, but its not found in Instruction Manual I have at home.
I weird not being able to read the oil temp in the MFD display as on Jetta and I don´t found trusted information about enable it via VCDS.
But gradually we will find the informations.
      Thanks again.

I believe the American tiguans did have some slight differences in the options/programming compared to the Australian versions.
Mine has the full height MFD display in white and i can see the oil temp on it.

Might also be worth checking out vwvortex as that is a more American based forum.
