I'm a mechanic/uni student who's been messing with VW's for a few years now (and using some of the posts on your site to help occasionally
). Figured it was time to give a little back to the community.
I'm currently driving a Golf MK7 TSI (base model with DSG).
If anyone has any specific concerns regarding mechanical issues I'm more than happy to help, I've worked on a heap of VW's in my time (everything from some early Kombi Van's to obviously the latest Golf's and Passat's) and if there's something I don't know straight away I'm sure I can put you in touch with someone who does.
I live in Sydney and own a whole heap of diagnostic tools (a genuine VCDS Cable and software being one of them) so I try and point you in the right direction with diagnosis so you can enjoy your cars!
