Alfons; the GTI!

Had the pleasure of meeting "The_Hawk" last Friday and have finally decided to create an account! ^^]

Some of you may know me from vwgolf.net.au, previously I did own a United Grey VW MK5 Golf with a quite unique lip...

Although, as of early last month, I have managed to get my hands on my very first GTI.

Thanks to the previous owner, Alfons ( my MKV's name) now resides with me after a very informative sell. ^^]

A few updates to Alfons as he has changed a tad!

Painted the inside of his front emblem silver:


Then finally got his new plates!

Eventually, after a few weeks, I finally saved up for some vinyl wrap (Decided to wrap the grill and get rid of his Europlate holder myself too!)




...Then, a couple of weeks later, I wanted to match his smile with his number plate and emblem- So, I painted his smile silver too ^^] :

About a month had passed and I wanted to add more wrap- something a bit different this time, and with the help of Kustom Wraps, I was able to assist and learn from the job. Carbon fiber is now on Alfons' hood:

Then, 2 weeks after that,I had finally finished paying off a set of refurbished/customised Denvers! ^^D


2 days later, I finally received some fog light tints in the mail- installed them the moment I parked him inside the garage:
