Hello everyone,
New here and thought I seek help from members before I buy my first Passat. I'm looking at a 2012 model, however, inspection came back saying a re-spray or re-paint was done on the passenger rear side near the wheel, and that there is a large amount of filler. I don't think having a repaired panel means a bad car, however, the inspector said that repair work may not be all that good and I maybe looking to have it done again in 12 months time. He did say that the paint job cannot be detected by simply looking at it, he had to use his gadget to find this out.
Does anyone here have a similar experience or would you recommend me going through with the purchase ? Does anyone also know how much a paint job roughly would cost for maybe a quarter area of the passenger side ?
