Long time VW owner, now looking to forums for basic info on doing simple upgrades and maintenance on my two vehicles, well three for now.
My wife has a 2010 Scirocco 140 TDI DSG, she got a good deal on that. What a great machine for eating up motorway miles. I have a 1996 Polo 1.6 GL which has been great, but the bodywork has given up and I have stopped patching it up, the engine is not 100% either, so it is being replaced by the end of this week with a 2103 Polo BlueGT DSG. The old Polo will be going for spares to anybody who wants it, I am located at the western end of the M4, think the Bristol/Bath kind of area.
