Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

      My Mk7 Golf R was recently purchased and is my first Volkswagen ever! After many years with Evo 6,7,8,9,10, and a few V8's and now finding myself in my 30's and appreciating different things in my motor car so went looking for something small yet refined. Looked at both Golf R & Audi S3 Sedan but the Golf R was a no-brainer buy in the end.

      very much looking forward to the next couple of years with this car.

          No playing around with it, my days of fiddling with cars are well over! I'm afraid it will remain pretty much stock.
