Hi Guys
Found this site via google search for DNS810. Some of you may be familiar with this piece of stereo hardware.
(I have popcorn and waiting for replies on that^^^^^)
Currently on vask, but found them fairly ho-hum (I come from clubsub.org.nz been in carclubs for more than 15 years)
Ride: 2008 VW Passat 3.2V6 4Motion with all bells n whistles apart from sunroof- it replaced a heavily modified BH5 Subaru. Fairly impressed with the volksie. I come from a VW/BMW family so not surprised with our new acquisition.
On a side note, Dealer installed the DNS810, I went back once for them to remap the gps pathway... and it unmapped itself again, then I mapped it again and it did it again... ho hum, so Dr Google pointed me here.
Have updated the firmware and fairly suitably impressed thus far - only 1 issue the startup volume is quite high near 20, however since I have auto nav installed and the GPS volume is set at 20 I think that may be issue. will play later.
