Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD New to the forum - owner of a Polo GTI 6R

    Hi everyone!

Posting as per outlines rules and regulations but wanting to introduce myself as well!

Name is Schelley, I am 20 and from Qld. I have owned my 2013 Polo GTI for 6 weeks now, and I am absolutely loving it. For a 1.4L it really impressed me!
Was originally going for a Golf GTI but P plate restrictions (and my laziness with not going for my opens) have stumped that plan temporarily. In 18 months - 2 years I will be trading my Polo in for a Golf but in the mean time, I want to get the most out of my little beast.
Looking at doing a couple of mods to it, but not right away which is what brought me to this forum (which looks great btw!)

Looking forward to having everyone's help and contributing (I'd like to think for a girl with a mechanic for a father I will be able to contribute significantly) toward things too.
