Hey all, so I've just got the first car I actually truly want and have wanted for a long time, the Golf GTi Mk6. I would have loved at brand new Mk7 but hey, not in the budget right now.

Prior to this car was an Astra (*shudder*) so let's just say I'm excited by things many people have been used to for years like....climate control woohoo hahaha. There's probably no need to mention the obvious upgrades like actual car performance

I live in WA, just got the car literally 2 days ago so still got lots to learn (and intend to read the manual, first time I've ever done that too).

I suddenly find myself wishing our roads were not so damn straight and flat.

Welcome, I live in WA too, and that is why we have the mundaring weir and the hills you should try going there. But of course, drive safely.
