Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    SA Hello!

    Hi all,

    I've had an Amarok for about 18 months and love it. Need to buy a runabout tho and am considering a Polo or a Golf, so looking forward to reading about others experiences with these vehicles.

    Hey mate welcome to the forum! I love the amaroks! Wouldnt mind one myself!

    As for the runabout depnds on your budget and what size. I have a mk4 golf and really love it. Could look at mk3 golfs too.

    Look forward to the pics of the amarok! also check out the events section as we have a sa meet every second month and same with a cruise on the opposite month.
