Hi there, I have dropped in to these forums many times & have finally signed up.
I've got a Mk7 103TSI Limestone Grey. Prior ride was a Mk6 103TDI, which was a great car. 107K klm in 3 years doing the dreaded Gold Coast to Brissy commute.
I thought long & hard about whether to go diesel again or make the change to the 103TSI. It took a while to get used to but now I love the TSI, its still got a bit of grunt but nice to rev it out & the sports mode works much better with this 7 speed DSG.

Negatives;
- Whats with the Satnav voice?? Just weird.
- The stereo doesn't auto lower the volume when turned off.
- The drivers door doesn't chime when opened. Lame I know but as you see I'm struggling to criticize anything!
- Don't like the window buttons down low on the armrest, its awkward to reach them.
- I have to drive very carefully to get near to the advertised fuel consumption figures. With the diesel didn't matter too much how I drove.
Pluses;
- Much more "sporty" drive.
- Much improved handling & ride.
- More upmarket interior.
- Great stereo/phone & Satnav (except for the F'ed up voice).
- Very quiet refined drive.
