Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    SA New to me - Audi A3 3.2

    Hi everyone,
    I have just bought a 2005 Audi A3 3.2
    I haven't driven it yet, as I bought it from Sydney and it should arrive here next week.
    It has done about 83,000km and is a one owner.
    The colour is Akoya silver.

    The plans are:
    18" anthracite wheels
    matt black grille
    lowering - might need to go with coil overs as the shocks might be getting too old to allow lowering
    upgrade the stereo
