Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hi guys, just re-joined. Need help with my GT TDi golf.
Read heaps good things on here in the past now I hope one of fellow members can help me with fuel cut off problem.

    Brief history.
Had a little front end accident, just a cosmetic panel damage and a broken fan AC condenser.
Started the car briefly for 10 sec and past that just won't turn. Fuel pump is working and all lines are feeding correctly.
But the engine just won't turn. Battery is ok. Have spare. All instruments on dash are ok and working.

Can anyone tell me if the TDi GT Golf 2007 has a fuel cutoff sensor or similar and where it is?
Any clues to this mystery as I run out of ideas?

    Cheers
    Al

I'd be looking to have it scanned for faults. Are you saying that the engine doesn't turn over when you turn the key. Or that it cranks but doesn't fire up?
