Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Mk4 GTI

    My name is Todd and I am from North East Melbourne.
    I have owned a 1999 Ibiza GTI but now I own a Mk4 GTI with a "stage 2" tune (130wkw). I have ordered a K04 turbo with RS6 turbo internals, 380CC injectors and all the other bits and bobs, tune ect. Will be an expected 230 wheel kw which will be more then enough.
    Hopefully will meet you all at some stage.

        Gave up on the turbo.
        It's all in the car but I need money for other things now ><
        Welcome to see it run on 9psi. It's about as fast as a stage 1 tune on that much boost.

        So it's up for sale for $950.
        Yes, 950 for a turbo that can take 220wheel kw.
        Has a lifetime rebuild warranty too.

          Errrm so anyway, I didn't give up on this.
          Everything is done and just letting the ECU do its adaptation business.

          Will update once rolling road dyno'd.
