  • Hey Everyone

    Hey guys and gals

I'm from Brisbane and I bought a 2013 Polo Comfortline.
I've been reading the forums here for a while, seeing what you can do with the car.

I'm here now in help with the woeful bluetooth sitation between the touch adapter and the RCD 310

I currently have my Nexus 5 setup so bluetooth phone conenction connects to the touch adapter and the audio component goes to the VW Phone (which seems to be the RCD 310). When it works its acceptable, but it often fails to connect for some reason or another and the steering wheel controls do not work.

I had read somewhere recently (sorry cant remember where) there was a firmware upgrade to the touch adapter to allow stereo bluetooth rather than the mono that is currently produces.

Also wanted to see if anyone had any experiences with a bluetooth product called ViseeO Tune2Air WMA1000. It claims it can connect to the MDI and allow for streaming and display track information. It should also allow for the steering wheel controls to work as if an ipod was connected.

      Hi Memphisranz,
I saw your post and researched the Tune2Air WMA1000. I ended up buying one which turned up this week. I have an iPhone 5 and a Jetta with the RCD-310. The Tune2Air connects via the MDI 30pin iPod cable. So far so good - it displays track information and steering wheel controls work. I haven't tested it will all music apps though, just Music and Downcast (podcast app).

      Cheers,
      Paul.
