On speed humps, Australian Standard speed humps are supposed to be no higher than 75 mm, but many car park operators don't know any better and make them higher. If you do suffer damage, measure the height, photograph it, and submit a claim to the car park operator. If they do not respond, notify the Insurance Council of Australia.

Cheers think they really suit the van . Few plans to do before leaving . Just had wheels reconditioned as the salt that is used on roads during winter eat away at the Clear coat and went all milky . Going to put steelies of for transport plus it sits a bit higher on them to as I has a wee measure up today and I have 105 mm to bottom of sill hope they don't check subframe because that sits wee bit lower :/

Can I ask how much it's costing to ship your van from the UK?

Welcome, another Scot here, I'm from Edinburgh and I'm still new to Aus too, been here since August. I'm bringing a car over too when I'm more settled, pleased to hear I'm not the only one doing it!

I moved back to Melbourne from Edinburgh 5 years ago. Couldn't justify the cost of bringing my van across.
