Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hello Im scott ,

    I have just purchased my first mk1 golf its a 1976 gls , I also drive a 2001 gti that im planning on using for a donor car in the comming months . I've owned a few air cooled wagens in the past and have always wanted a mk1.

    Any help will be much appreciated ,.

    I also have loads of mk1 spares and a mk4 gti that I will be parting out very soon

    Hi, i have a golf 1.6 se 2001. Doing a conversion at the moment to a 1.8t AGU.
