Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi everyone,

    long time lurker and have just picked up a mk7 110tdi to add to the mk6 103tdi I already have- looking forward to learning a heap from everyone on here!

    Just about to organise window tint at D and S auto unless anyone has a better recommendation?

      Firstly welcome to the forum.

      Not sure of any better suggestions for tint though can recommend Elite Finish at Somerton Park for paint protection. There's a few of us that use Hamish for work on our cars. They also do window tinting but I don't have any direct experience on their tint.

          I believe someone mentioned in the mk7 tint thread that D&S were doing the tint for Hamish. If you're looking at getting some work done let me know as I can get you a good deal with him.

            Yea I read that, D and S is around the corner from my place so no hassle getting there- pm sent re price
