Hi all, my name is Damo and I am new to Brisbane.
I have been into VW Golf GTIs for many years and moved from London UK last year.
I just registered over at vwgolf.net.au and they said I should check you out too...
I am a Motor Tech by trade and since arriving here the guys I know have tried getting me into rice burners and V8s etc. but I love Veedubs and cant get away from them!
Have owned 3 MK1s, 2 MK2s, 1 MK3, 1 MK4 and a Corrado G60. I like to mod and improve more than keep standard.
I still have my 1992 MK2 GTI 16v locked up in the UK.
I dont own a dub in Australia at the moment but I think it is going to happen soon (Im looking...)
I am really hoping there is a good VW scene here???
