Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Welcome to the forum Roksquatch! I can't wait for the pictures. What specs, colour options and accessories did you get with your Amarok?

Cheers mate,
I got a single cab chas, styling pack so I can rip that beautiful colour matched bumper off and bin it in place of a arb deluxe bar that will support a couple of FYRLYT 5000 lumin spotties.
Got a 130 LRA tank so I don't have to stop at Bum XXXX nowhere servos, a RDC510 reverse cam, redarc or taxride under bonnet duel bat system ,super trim neo seats, bf a/t 265 75 16 on 16 inch traumas and a set of billies and king springs to keep her guts off the ground.
But best of all is a $10,000 custom aluminium bosston full length 1100mm high canopy.
I guess she will have some fruit but as I mentioned all practical choices of quality over W-factor.
I'm a beach and rock angler and have a sales agency that requires long long coastal runs. Like I mean 7200km return. WA is to frigin big! Ha ha
So a balance of road and sand.
Bf AT's are the best pattern for 15psi beach driving that I've found for our beaches, and a damn fine road tyre.
Things I might need to add is a snorkel and side steps. But dun really need them at this stage.
This big ugly chunk of shtanmeister will be finished in 2 weeks.
