Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    SA Hi from new Golf Mk7 owner

    Hi All,

    just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

    My wife and I are about to take delivery of a Mk 7 Golf Highline 110TDI.



    We have been looking at a new (turbo diesel) daily driver and after looking at a few other options I coulnt go past the Golf. Its a very nice change from our old 2003 Ford Focus!



    However the second reason for the Golf is that we just sold our 'other' car...a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III RS gravel rally car, so while we are inbetween rally cars it was time for a nicer daily driver!


    This forum looks like a great source of information! cant wait to get get my hands on the car.

        Thanks guys, I'll be keen to say hi at one of the upcomming meets.

        Unfortunatly i have plans all day on Sunday, but hopefuly the weather stays nice for it!
