Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi finally I have a nice set of wheels its a 2008 GT Golf so nice
    I got my daughter hooked and she got her self a 2007 golf Comfortline
    they look great together in the driveway ,,,one happy family

    Hi all here's hoping someone can help me,, I have installed a bluetooth model VGA098900 to my daughters 2007 Golf Comfortline
    it has a RCD 300 stereo system the Blaupunkt unit, it was a very simple install ,,it all just clipped together, while I was in the depths of the dash I also put in a plug for an AUX to play music ,,as the stereo does not support MP3, Well it doe not work .
    My qustion is, is it compatible , I spoke with VW and at this point they say it just doe not work they have to tell it to work with ther gizmo thing at a $143.00 an hour , Can someone out there tell me is this a truth...
