Hi guys & gals,

just saying hi. I've got a V8 Touareg in the shed and a mk5 GTI which is giving me a bit of grief at the moment. It's misfiring on cylinder 2 under high load from time to time. I've changed a set of plugs so I guess the next option is a coil pack.

i came across this forum while searching and it looks like a great resource.

Howdy!

Coil packs are common point of failure unfortunately. Swap the coil pack to another cylinder and see if the fault follows the coil.

BMR Autowerkes has R8 coil packs for $119 a set of 4. These are a stronger coil and will also fit the Mk5 GTI
