Forum only readable to users

The server is being hammered again by crawlers, we are seeing tens of thousands of "users" online. Rather than give up and take the whole thing offline, I've switched it over so users must be logged in to even read the forum. I've also removed the ads completely once you're logged in since they are now basically worthless and annoying.

It's not ideal, but it keeps things online for now until I work out a better approach.

    VIC hello all

    I've had my gti mk6 since april 2011.

    I find its time for a little modification time.

    A friend of mine recommended this forum to get feed back on all options regarding ecu, exhausts etc etc

    Would like to pick peoples brains to get the best for car.
