Gday all,
Glad to be here to find out a bit more about older VW/Audis.
I have always had VW/Audis in my life, including:
_1976 Audi Fox, brown, manual (I called it the 'Audi 9 millimetre' as it handled so well)
_1976 Audi 80GL, red, automatic
_1974 Audi Fox, beige, manual (spares and went to the big car yard in the sky after that)
_1977 VW Golf, white, manual (my wife had it)
Currently I own:
_1995 VW Vento, green, manual
_2002 Audi A4 blue sedan
_2012 Skoda Superb (and it is....)
Currently in SA, and looking at buying an older Fox or Passat hence finding my way here. There's some nice restorations going on! Hope to see some more and find out how much work I am up for. Have my eye on a 1974 Passat I have found. It reminds me of all the radiators I used to replace on my Fox's when they split at the neck!
