Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    From Melbourne, new car on order

    Hi guys, just a quick hi from Melbourne. Not so new to VW - I owned a 1969 Beetle, 1974 Kombi and currently a 2011 Polo (first new car). I ordered my first Golf in mid December, which I can probably pick up at some point within the next two weeks. It's been a long wait...

    I've been lurking a while and got some very useful info from this site. I'm guessing the time has come to contribute.
