  • Newbie MK5 GTi Silver 4 door

hey guys, I'm Anthony. I just got myself a MK5 GTi, Was heavily involved in subarus and the scene. Sold my 2002 STi that was making 230kw ATW. was set up for track, but now got myself a nice daily.

So what are some good lite mods to do that respond well without dumping lots of $$$ coz my subi owed me 60k and dont want to go down that path anytime soon again :p

    Cheers
    Anthony

Hi Anthony, I guess you will find the GTI more powerful than the 23kw Subi

Most start with output mods then go for suspension, what is your budget?

Or if starting with a tune then you have a lot of choices, in Qld I would at least approach Tarmac for a Spectune, not much benefit in a cat back until you have a dump pipe, too many choices for suspension but I would look at Superpro lower control arm with anti lift kit, depending on kilometres shocks and springs or for looks coil overs unless tracking it regular then coil overs are the go.
