SA Mk5 GTi owner

Just thought I would say hi. Just purchased a second hand MY09 Mk5 GTi and absolutely loving the DSG
live in Adelaide southern suburbs, and looking for advice on servicing, parts etc in Adelaide area as timing belt is due. Car is booked for tinting and detailing next week so pictures to follow soon.

Hey mate and welcome Is this the gti from sa hot hatches page on fb? For servicing i hear transporter is around flagstaff hill? Hes mobile aswell so he can come to you.

I get my cars serviced by Transporter (MRL Automotive) and would certainly recommend him to others.

There is also German Auto opposite Castle Plaza just off South Rd and Solitaire of course. Though price goes up and experience of technicians often goes down (unfortunately) at the dealers.

I posted in MRL's thread but said that post was awaiting moderator approval? Anyway, Have approached German Auto and their pricing is up there, as was Auto Studio. I will wait and see what Transporter comes back with.

Mid week meets aren't easy for me to get to, so I'll probably look to come on one of the Sunday drive meets. What's the general consensus on attending, are Kids welcome? My 5yo son would probably want to come along, but would be good to know if other kids come along?
