Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW New here! And new to VW's!

    G'day fellas!

    Im Shaun, i just recently bought old mate Tom's blue Vento.

    Currently in the middle of swapping the gearbox and in need of some parts if anyone has some spares!
    Need the gear selectors which attach to the top of the box where the selector cables meet!



    Otherwise im looking forward to getting to know some of you blokes and cruising with you guys!

    Ventos are awesome,I had my first one in USA .boughtbrand new at end of 1993.
    Was badged as a Jetta 3 .

    Bought my second one,also brand new at the end of 1995.
    It was in South Africa,and alsobadged as a Jetta 3.
