Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

As for the intake.. u wont notice much inside the cabin unless u are seriously intently listening but I had a friend get in and drive past me at various speeds under various throttle loads and my god its beautiful lol.. it also smooths out the throttle response too
LOL, you are a cracker! I am thinking of getting the intake form HP as well. Are they hard to install?

Yes, good point, I will switch back to stock and then go to program 3 again see if there is any different.

    cheers mate

Also if you're worried about fuel consumption don't put it on a track - 25.4 today at Lakeside.

Well I was told the hardest part was taking off the Engine cover but personally that was the second hardest part.
I struggled getting the elbow pipe over the turbo! Purely because its abit hard to get at down behind the left of the actual engine.
