Forum only readable to users

The server is being hammered again by crawlers, we are seeing tens of thousands of "users" online. Rather than give up and take the whole thing offline, I've switched it over so users must be logged in to even read the forum. I've also removed the ads completely once you're logged in since they are now basically worthless and annoying.

It's not ideal, but it keeps things online for now until I work out a better approach.

    SA coolant leak

    hello peeps i got a golf vr6 97, i had a coolant leak that looked like the crack pipe and took it out and replaced seals and still it leaked.so i changed the water pump this morning refulled with water and it looked like it stopped but when i put the the cap on the water expansion tank it started leaking again.it looks like the leak is coming from the above the crack pipe.

    please can anybody help me with some info thanks

    Pictures would help and I hope you used G12 or higher coolant at the correct mix and not tap water.

      i used higher coolant but used water to test for leak after putting water pump on,oh and the leak is just above the crack pipe where it goes into the block
