hey guys thought i join vwwatercooled after being on vwgolf.net for a while to broaden horizons and opportunities.
i might post my build thread on this a little later but who knows.

Im looking for a new set of wheels 5x100 17" preferred so if you guys have any let me know!!

well im just going to start where i left off on vwgolf.net

with the help of frankeshh the irritating fool we managed to wire sub and amp into my golf and put 35mm lowering springs in. i bought mk4 bora stock wheels painted bronze off drift sales for $50 and 2 kicker speakers which was a great deal seeing as tho i was never going to use the speakers and i was so bored of my 15" balloons making my car look tacky.



frankeshh and i went to liverpool to pick them up and they look alright on my car

my car sat lower than franks "search for stance" for a while as he couldnt decide whether to look like a monster truck or scrub when he drove over leaves.

my golf sits so pretty now with that extra low and the stiffer springs make that much more of a difference!

those tyres look far to small for a mk4 on the bora wheels. speedo is prob miles out

Wash, rear wiper delete, put some roof racks on! ill update when i take a photo with the roof racks on i accidently deleted it :/

So i decided i wanted new wheels again so i bought some subaru bbs wheels for 500 what a steal. i jack up the car with the jack thats in the car and i get the wheel off and go to get the longer bolts from the garage and the jack collapses on itself....

imagine if i was under the car when that happened oh my! the rod bent under pressure from the weight of the car surely i can get a new one for free from vw. anyway so i try put the wheels on but the centre bore is too small on the wheels due to subaru fitment.... has anyone got any ideas as where i can get them bored out to fit or make them fit?

Finally got coilovers and they are in!! Running 25mm spacers at the rear with a 2 finger gap and im very pleased with the look! Now just to lower the front more!
