Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Hi from a potential new Skoda Owner

    Hi,
Just a short note to tell you that I will be lurking around site,

Don't panic as by the name you can possible tell that owning a Land Rover so I tend to hang around a few forums.

I am in the market for a Skoda and due to the lease running out on the current car, I don't think the RS will be here in time.

I have stumbled across a Skoda Superb wagon with the V6 (ex manager slash demo car) that wasn't quite on the market.

So I am nearly a "VW" of sorts owner.

If it helps my daughter has a Bora 2.0 manual, which is a lovely car to drive so you might see me in this area as well coz I seem to get the jobs of fixing it.

    Current - 2000 Land Rover Discovery Td5
2011 Holden Commodore Sport wagon (to be moved on before March)

Wishing for a Skoda Octavia RS but we live in Australia so I can't have it so getting (if all goes well) Skoda Superb V6 Combi

Might be worth checking out the latest Octavia. There is a 132TSI, which a forum member suggested felt as quick as the "old" 147TSI RS.
Now gone.... 2012 Skoda Fabia RS
