Hi Guys + Gals,
I just purchased a 2013 Scirocco R, DSG, Rising Blue with Dynaudio.
My Wife and I pick it up tomorrow morning at 8.30am. 1-2-14.
I paid $47500 with business rego.
Seriously love the styling of this car.
I drove my customers R last friday and bought one the next day.
I have a Dyno workshop in Sydney. Contrary to popular belief, a dyno guy doesn't always look at the PEAK numbers. He doesn't always have the most powerful cars.
I believe in having an over all package and best bang for buck mods that net the best torque gains that can be felt in the real world.
I ran up his R with a stage 1 APR tune and it made 180kW at the tyres even after 4 back to back runs. And it ran a 13.3s 1/4 a few nights ago.
On the road it was fantastic.
I look forward to getting to know some of the rest of the R owners on this site.
