Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    new to watercooled

    Hi guys my name is nick im 23, and from the south east suburbs of melbourne.

    i drive a mk5 r32 and have been on vw vortex forum before this, but am glad to be a part of this forum as there is always new and interesting threads that i can now be involved in!

    im a student doing postgraduate psychology, and therefore i have plenty of time to think about what mods i want to buy ;D

    so far i have the following upgrades on my ride:

    - um DSG/ECU tune with spark cut
    - vf intake + heat shield
    - rns510
    - carbon paddles
    - 19 inch tallies
    - r caliper clips


    to come:

    - haldex gen 2
    - milltek with small res


    if anyone needs help with any of these things and lives around me id be glad to help.

    I am glad you have come to the right place to share your passion for Volkswagen's. Post some photos up of your R32 when you get a chance as I wouldn't mind having a geeze. Good to have more 6 potters!

      Welcome to the forum and nice set of wheels for anyone doing post-grad studies

      Not sure what you timing on the Haldex upgrade is but there's a group buy running on these... finishing today!!!!
