  • 2007 Polo GTI owner - Brisbane

    Hi everyone

Just introducing myself - my name's Dan and I've recently picked up a second hand Polo GTI (white) with about 52,000km's on the clock. Car is in great nick and is heaps of fun.

Modding bug is already biting hard!

Looking forward to being part of the forum.

      Thanks team_v!

I'm keen to get out to some events soon. I realised I live only 20 mins from Lakeside so that will definitely be on the cards at some stage.

Will definitely check out Anthony and Gavin's pogo's!

Luckily we have a spare spot still for Happy Laps in February.

Car is completely stock at the moment - worth taking out do you reckon? I guess it would provide a good baseline for when I start modding.

You don't need to have heaps of mods and crazy power given it is just happy laps.
Heck, we even had a Nissan S-cargo out with us one time with about 60HP.

It is a good way to learn how the car behaves when pushed and to really get a feel for how each of the future upgrades improve it.

Ok I'm in! I'll PM you my details as per the event posting.

Great way to meet everyone and also get to grips (so to speak) with the Pogo. I appreciate the invite!
