I am a lapsed Golf owner that is looking forward to returning to the fold.
Up to one year ago I drove a 2005 Golf TDI Series 5 that I had owned since new. It gave me 8 years of reliable and economical transport, with a bonus of excellent torque. The 6-speed DSG was never a problem, except for the servicing cost.
Having moved on to a Hyundai diesel highlander a year ago, I am regretting parting with the Golf. Now I have my eye on a TDI Highline Series 7, but they are in short supply just now.
Greetings to all Golf owners.
