Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi all,

    Boughtmy first golf in 1984 - was a 1979, Silver - my first car. Such a great car I had it for 13 years.

    Got a mk3 in 2010 and another one in 2012.

    Unfortunately the latest mk3 wont start but will jump start ok and drive for hours. Replaced almost everything and now looking for someone who has vagcom to tell us what is really wrong
