Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD Hello hello

    Hey there, new tiguan 103tdi owner. just got it two month's ago. Awesome car but now i've got an issue with the aircond blower, not sure is it control module, resistor, relay problem but the service center ordered replacement parts for the control module so hopefully that will solve it.

    Otherwise I've got a question, i bought it from here in brisbane. But in a few months time i'm moving down to Melbourne for good. Is there anything i should know? Also i took it upon myself to get the dealers extended warranty (I've seen the mix feelings about this ), would anyone know if its still valid after i've made the move and wont be servicing with them anymore. Cant seem to find that kind of info in the agreement.

    Hi and welcome.

    Recommend getting you a/c fixed before heading off on a big trip.

    And extended warranties can be a tricky thing. There's a range of different policies out there and depends what you have signed up for. They range from extension to the manufacturer warranty to something that's not worth the paper it's printed on.

      Actually i doubt its the module but since its not costing me anything to change and they're willing to change anything till its fixed. Why not
