Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    VIC Towbar on a Mk1 Golf Cabriolet???

    Hi All,

    Any guidance... I with to tow a small boat trailer (light) behind my Mk1 Cabriolet.

    Is it straightforward?

    Is it the sort of thing you can pick up at wreckers?

    Would it be the same as a towbar for any other Mk1?
