Bought myself a little blue manual MK4 hatch a year and a half ago and currently halfway through doing an engine swap with it, any advice, opinions, info, help etc much appreciated. going to post the installation with pictures and notes

Thanks found an AKL 1.6 engine with hardly any K's so putting that in to play around with the golf for a few months and upgradeComment

Oh yea just staying stock? Yea im going 1.8t conversion. Theres plenty of guys on here who have done it. Plenty of top blokes on here mate.Comment

I was considering a 1.8t but wasn't sure what else I'd need to change or add on so just keeping it pretty stock engine wise. 1.6 with 51,000km's for $500 will hopefully have it back up and runningComment
