Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Happy new years all !!!

    After weeks of umming and ahhing between different SUV's we finally decided and signed up for a 132 TSI Tiguan.. still somewhat anxious about our decision tbh..

    The Tigs is meant for the missus vehicle... but most like i will end up tinkling with some of the bits and pieces without her knowing.

    Pretty excited to join the forum and the world of VW... been a long time coming to join this forum..

    Currently also driving a MY 130TDI Passat (work car).... might also look around on what tuning can be done secretly on this one

    Hi Folks - happy new years!

    Welcome to the forum. You won't be disappointed with your choice - Tig is a great little SUV.

    Plenty of info here for you to "tinker" to your hearts content

    Suggest some cosmetic touches to the Tig. My wife liked the chrome trimmed window switches, RCD510 and reverse camera if you haven't got these options already.

    That way she won't mind so much when you do a couple of non-cosmetic upgrades

      The dealer had added the rcd510 as a bonus while we were negotiating. tbh at the time i didnt think too much of it.
      I will have go search the forum to see how to get the maximum benefit from this device.
