I discovered the forum whilst searching for some explanations for the questionable performance of the navigation system on the first real trip in the car. I just emailed Barloworld Fivedock with the following
"Hi, I've not long returned from a Sydney/Melbourne trip during which I used the navigation system extensively for the first time.
We noted a few failings of the mapping and system.
e.g.
a) Out of date maps where freeways have obviously been in place for a few years
b) A voice that says "continue towards $#^$$#.." (Unintelligble)
c) incorrect speed signs
d) no suburb listing for Brighton, Melbourne - one of the city's biggest suburbs.
Presumably this is not how a new system is meant to perform and either is malfunctioning or out of date. Could you please advise me on what should be done about this?
