WA Hi! New Rok Owner

Hi Everybody,

I just picked up my Amarok 420. Its my work car so i'll be spending lots of time in it. I've joined the forum as these places are usually a great source of information for people who don't want to go to the dealership every time they've got a problem. I've just fitted an RCD10 stereo as an upgrade from the 210 it came fitted with, and am having trouble getting the Bluetooth audio to stream through my iphone5. Hopefully i'll be able to find a solution through this forum.

For your BT challenges I'd suggest checking out the VW Car Audio and Electronics section.

Please be aware that not all BT units support all features so before you go too far you'll need to find out exactly what BT unit you have installed and what functionality it has. There are a heap of different BT units on the market and it is a bit of a minefield.

I'm not sure whether your BT was factory installed or if it was an option which the dealer fitted. You can check what options were installed in the factory on the car if you can find the location where all the option codes are listed (under the boot floor in a lot of other VWs). Sometimes the dealer fitted units are cheaper and have more "basic" functionality i.e. accept/receive calls and that's about it.
